Summer of challenge’s started...
Our athletes attended various sport and cultural events in few last days. One of them was Sulov MTB Marathon, where Lucia Peskova started her first MTB marathon in real conditions [Lu riding spinning]. She made progress …she finished for this time :-) Congratulating to her.
Juraj Petransky Memorial Race was a second event where Matus Vnencak and Matej Fabsik finished at 6th respectively at 2nd place. They needed to carry 100kg at Zamkovsky’s Cabin [1475m] in High Tatras. It’s a testing mixture of cross-country hike, weight-lifting competition and uphill dash. They took this race like a preparation for their most important goal, 100km run in Tatras.
Zahoracky marathon was 3rd event. It was running event where attended tres musketieros, Juraj Kascak, Jan Jarabek a Stefan Cuvala. First of them ran just half-marathon. It was his second one and his finish time has been 1:47h. Jan Jarabek made proud yourself because he made his challenge and finished marathon race. It was very hard on his first but he was happy because finishing. Great job Johnny :-)
Stefan tried to run marathon after 3 hour of cycling in hills. He wanted to try cycling-run transition for his future Ironman. After 32 km of marathon he ran in pain but he also finished. It was a big experience and he takes a new strategy.

Tibor Misutka has at Saturday a big day. He was a part of sport and social event called Bratislava – Jasna, cycling adventure. He rode 320km in one day [almost 11h]. Race was great, wind to back, no raining, just a few hills [Donovaly about 12km] but what is more important is that he fulfilled his promise about this challenge. Spectacular result.
I would like thank you to all of you. It was great weekend full of tears, pain, happiness and satisfaction.
