First place at SALZKAMMERGUT TROPHY 2010 in women’s category over 40 years. Janka clearly dominated the course of 73.6 km / 2,446 m elevation with a time of 4:48:54h. The Salzkammergut Trophy is one of the most famous MTB marathons in Europe.
Third place at SELLA RONDA HERO MARATHON 2012 in women’s hobby category. Janka conquered the course of 82 km / 4,200 m elevation with a time of 9:24:32h. Sella Ronda is an iconic race, which due to its elevation is considered to be the hardest one on the continent.
Peter Hamerlik was a Czech Hockey Champion in 2010/2011. During that season he was the third best goalkeeper of the league. The Czech Extraliga is one of the best hockey leagues in the world.
Second place at the race called NIZKOTATRANSKA STIHACKA 2011. It is an ultra-running competition. The course is 99 km long with 5,500 metres elevation. The runners compete in teams of two and have to carry all of their equipment with them. Athletes finished with the time of 16:36h.
In 2011 Juraj conquered the sixth highest mountain in the world (Cho-Oyu, 8,201 m). He and his group (he headed the expedition) fought bad weather conditions in the autumn season. At descent he participated in the rescue of a member of his team at the expense of his own health. This man’s performance and values definitely deserve their place in our Hall of Fame.
Jakub is a multiple medal holder from the Paralympic Games, Alpine Skiing World and European Championships in the category of visually impaired athletes. He is a driven athlete, who transforms his ambitions into results. Currently, he is one of our most successful Paralympic athletes. Based on his sports performance, he was among the five candidates nominated for the Sportsperson with a Disability of the Year award awarded at the prestigious international award ceremony Laureus World Sports Awards.
